Submit the form on the Contact page to schedule a free consultation call or to get scheduled for your first session. Here you can share some information about what you’re looking for and how you prefer to be contacted. You can provide as much or as little information as you’re comfortable with (a simple “I need therapy” will do). I’ll be quick to follow up with you, so we can decide if we’re a good fit and we can get started on our work together.
Your first session will focus on assessment, goal setting, and relationship building. In your first appointment, we’ll take a comprehensive look at your reason for engaging in therapy, exploring your current needs, and discussing opportunities for growth. In this session, you will be encouraged to provide information and insights about yourself to support the foundation of our work together. We’ll discuss things like your symptoms, your daily routines, your support system, and strategies you use that already work for you, to determine the most well-rounded approach to your care.
Your child or teen will have the opportunity for individual sessions, as deemed appropriate through the assessment, and their care may include part or all of the family, depending on the presenting needs. Additionally, parenting sessions with one or more primary caregivers may be recommended. Often, a combination of individual, parenting, and family sessions is recommended to support the best outcomes.
If your child or teen is under joint guardianship, like a co-parenting agreement, consent from both legal guardians is required to begin the therapy process. While not required, it is recommended that both guardians engage in the therapy process as much as possible to support progress toward the identified goals.

I am licensed to provide therapy in Arizona and Utah. In-person therapy is available in Northeast Mesa, and telehealth therapy is available to anyone in Arizona and Utah.
Telehealth is available to anyone in Arizona and Utah. For some, telehealth may be the only or best option available to engage in consistent therapy. For others, a combination of in-person and telehealth sessions may be preferred. We can work together to determine what is right for you.
Telehealth is best suited for adults and, at times, teens; however, telehealth may be an available option for children in therapy, based on the assessment and goals.

Therapy sessions are available Monday – Thursday, with flexibility to meet your scheduling needs.
Consistency and active participation in each session, including assessment, goal setting, and ongoing sessions, allow for the greatest opportunity for your success. Based on the assessment and your goals, we will choose a frequency that meets your needs. The frequency of your sessions will likely change throughout your time in therapy, adapting to your changing needs and your progress.
Typically, weekly or bi-weekly sessions are recommended as you begin therapy to support the development of the therapeutic alliance and to promote progress toward your goals.
Open communication is recommended throughout your time in therapy to ensure your needs are the focus of each session. If, at any time in your care, you feel as though you are not progressing, you have questions about the methods being used in your sessions, or you feel ready to end therapy, you are encouraged to let me know. We will work together to adapt to meet your needs.
